Vacation Getaway

"Wow! What a View!
What a Home!"

"Four of our friends and us rented this home for a week in October for a fun getaway and a place to stay so we could visit Boston. This was the perfect choice!

The house is lovely, well laid-out, clean, neat, very well-equipped & delightful!
The sun room and kitchen            were the favorite           gathering places. . . .

You will be pleasantly surprised at the size of the house and how nice everything is. The view is just awesome, too!  . . .

It is a short drive to everything you could want - good grocery store, great seafood store!!! Just a short distance to the train station for Boston, too. . . and poking around the area coastline was so much fun!

Kathy is a delightful and a gracious hostess; she has everything in perfect order for your stay. She left suggestions of restaurants, etc., and she has great recommendations.
She even laid a fire in the wood stove for us!

We rented the house to keep the cost down and actually, it provided a great experience for us. Every one of us would like to return.

Enjoy your stay.
We are sure you will!

A Wonderful Home and Vacation!

If you get the chance to visit Cape Ann you can't go wrong by renting this home. It's walking distance to so many things. The house is beautifully decorated and as comfortable as humanly possible. Do yourself a favor and take a vacation in Gloucester and this wonderful home. I have rented homes for vacation all over New England, but this one takes the cake!

                                                       Girls' Getaway Perfecto!

Last July, three of my best friends and I rented Kathy Eckles' home in Gloucester for a Girls' Getaway. Right away we were impressed with the calming charm of the house. While very spacious, it exudes a cozy atmosphere that relaxes you right away. The furnishings, views,
ample lighting coming through the abundance of windows, and its location - walking distance to great restaurants - made this getaway a memorable experience. We enjoyed short drives to gorgeous Good Harbor Beach and the quaint shops of Gloucester and picturesque Rockport.          Every day we looked forward to cocktail hour on the sunporch. We could have stayed there
all day and night, reclining on the chaise lounges, watching the ships in Gloucester's harbor
depart and return with their cargo of fish or tourists as we toasted the good times we had
shared through the years.

This is a fabulous place for a Girls' Getaway. It also has all the markings of a most romantic setting for couples. I'm hoping to return this year, and (if they promise to be especially nice to us) maybe this time we'll allow some of the spouses to join us!
